Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Acrisure has acquired Pittsburgh-based Mockenhaupt Benefits Group, an actuarial firm that specializes in local government pension plans. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This acquisition marks the beginning of our next chapter and we’re excited to work alongside an established and reputable team,” Acrisure’s Brad Rigby said in a statement. “We’ve seen tremendous development within Acrisure’s pension actuarial team.”
Founded in 1940, Mockenhaupt provides retirement plan design and administration to public employee benefit plans in Pennsylvania.
