DawnChem, a family owned and operated cleaning supplies and equipment company in Cleveland, has been acquired by Nichols, a Norton Shores, Mich.-based distributor to the industrial, food processing, education, building service contractors, health care and hospitality industries.
The acquisition expands Nichols’ presence in Northeast Ohio. The distributor has branch locations in Grand Rapids, Greater Detroit, Holland, Traverse City, Bowling Green and Cleveland, Ft. Wayne and Indianapolis, Indiana, and Decatur, Illinois.
DawnChem President Ed Rossi will remain with Nichols as general manager.
