Flooring Partners has acquired Ohio-based independent flooring company The Flooring Edge, which includes the operations doing business as Barrington Carpet & Flooring Design (Green), Carpet Country & Design Center (Twinsburg) and Young’s Floor Covering (Port Clinton).
Jason Blankenship has been named regional vice president for this new division of Flooring Partners. Blankenship stated that “Flooring Partners has been an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 2021, and we couldn’t be happier for our hard-working employees as they are all now set to become part owners of such a successful company.”
Craig Phillips, president and CEO of the Flooring Edge, has accepted a position on the board of directors with Flooring Partners.
