Frantz Ward LLP has acquired the Cleveland-based law firm of Kadish, Hinkel & Weibel, adding a team of six staff and 11 attorneys.
The combined staff will number nearly 70 attorneys and significantly strengthen Frantz Ward's business law practice group, which will now be led by former KHW managing partner Kevin M. Hinkel.
Joining Kevin on the Frantz Ward staff are former KHW partners David G. Weibel, Stephen L. Kadish, Matthew F. Kadish, Daniel P. Hinkel, Margaret M. Metzinger, William A. Duncan, Dean M. Rooney and James H. Rownd as well as attorneys John P. Desimone and Karl E. May.
KHW was primarily known for its business law practice and will add significant depth to Frantz Ward's full-service offerings in the areas of real estate, estate planning, tax law, mergers and acquisitions, pension planning, and regulatory compliance, among others.
