Ganley Auto Group is in the process of buying Pleasant Hills, Penn.-based Day Toyota, according to news reports.
CEO Ken Ganley told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette he plans to open the dealership under the Ken Ganley Toyota banner in late February, with no cuts expected to Day Toyota’s roughly 50 employees.
The acquisition gives Ganley Auto its first presence in Pennsylvania, but the company is reportedly open to other acquisition opportunities in the Pittsburgh region. The Toyota location on Clairton Blvd. was the only dealership offered for sale.
