Grafton, Ohio-based Genesys Industries has acquired Unity Township-based Latrobe Foundry Machine & Supply Co. Genesys is also buying Latrobe Foundry’s Whitney facility.
Latrobe Foundry is a manufacturer of threaded and flanged aluminum pipe fittings and hardware.
“Latrobe Foundry and Genesys share common markets, hardware product lines, manufacturing expertise and values,” Latrobe Foundry President Ted Steiner said in a statement. “Working together, we will be able to offer a broader range of products and enhanced service levels for our customers. We welcome all of Latrobe Foundry customers to Genesys Industries.”
Genesys said it expects the deal to be accretive to earnings within six months of closing.
