Hyland is in the process of acquiring the OneContent business from Allscripts, a healthcare information technology firm.
The deal, expected to close in the second quarter, will see the OneContent client base — some 300 customers — and associates folded into Hyland.
Hyland plans to support OneContent customers' current solutions while beefing up the platform with new features and functionality, refining the integration with Allscripts' Paragon EHR system. Hyland plans to partner closely with Allscripts through the process.
