Utah-based Leavitt Group has acquired Columbus-based Augustine Insurance Agency.
“After thoughtful consideration, I decided to leave the legacy my father built, and I was able to continue, in the capable hands of Leavitt Group Midwest,” said founder Robert Augustine, who is retiring following the deal. “I am very grateful for a 44-year-long career in insurance and am looking forward to fishing and spending more time with my family.”
Augustine Insurance Agency’s office has relocated to Leavitt Group Midwest’s location in Westerville.
Leavitt Group is one of the largest privately held insurance brokerages in the country with a network of more than 90 agencies and 250 locations across 27 states.
