Pittsburgh-based Levin Furniture former President and owner Robert Levin’s agreement to come out of retirement to save the company has reportedly been called off. The deal to purchase the Pennsylvania and Ohio assets of Levin Furniture and Wolf Furniture through a court restructuring of the parent company Art Van Furniture LLC was previously announced on March 5.
WPXI-TV reports that it has learned employees of Levin Furniture stores in the Pittsburgh-area received an email Friday saying the deal was no longer happening.
