The Mace brand will integrate Tornado brand product lines, including pepper sprays, stun guns and bear sprays for individuals and law enforcement. “This transaction reinforces the Mace Brand as the leader in the less-lethal, personal self-defense product category, and gives both brands access to new retail channels and partnerships," Mace President and CEO Gary Medved said.
Mace expects the acquisition to have a positive financial impact within the first year.
