OhioHealth and Morrow County Hospital entered into a membership agreement that makes Morrow County Hospital a full member of the OhioHealth system. Morrow County Hospital became OhioHealth’s 16th full member hospital Jan. 1. The move comes after nearly 40 years of OhioHealth managing Morrow County Hospital.
“We are excited to welcome Morrow County Hospital into the OhioHealth family,” said Steve Markovich, MD, president and CEO of OhioHealth. “We have partnered with Morrow County Hospital for nearly 40 years and have a shared culture and mission to keep care local, which makes this strengthened relationship a logical next step. We look forward to continuing to serve the Mt. Gilead and Morrow County community for years to come.”
The membership agreement brings the 25-bed critical access hospital and its physicians and associates under the OhioHealth umbrella.
