Grand Rapids-based Priority Health will acquire CAM Administrative Services, a Southfield-based third-party administrator of health benefits, effective July 1. The company will continue to operate under its current name.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
CAM Administrative Services acts as the administrator for some of Priority Health’s insurance business. “As close strategic partners for years, we saw an opportunity to formally combine our strengths,” Rick Morrone, SVP of employer solutions of Priority Health said in a statement. “Our shared vision, values and culture make this a natural fit.”
