Saucy Brew Works, a Cleveland-based production brewery and brewpub in Ohio City, has raised more than $250,000 of an intended $1.07 million through crowdfunding site StartEngine.
"It’s been just three weeks since our campaign launched, and we’ve hit our first major milestone: $250,000+ raised and 550+ investors," the company said on the StartEngine site. "We’re thrilled to have everyone on board and want to thank everyone who has participated and helped us reach our goal so we can continue growing this company."
The money being raised will go towards completion of Columbus and Detroit brewpubs, which are expected to be completed towards the end of the tbhird quarter.
The investment is being offered at $1 per share for a valuation of $82.4 million. The effort will be open for two more months.
