The Shamrock Companies, a Northeast Ohio-based integrated marketing, technology, and project management solutions provider, announced it acquired Innovative Business Products (IBP) in Nashville, TN.
With 50 years of collective experience, IBP is a trusted resource for print marketing, promotional products and apparel, direct mail, and statement processing solutions for customers nationwide. As IBP joins Shamrock, the Company expands its capabilities to include a comprehensive suite of creative and digital marketing services, including leading data analytics and company e-store technology solutions.
“The Shamrock and IBP partnership is a natural fit,” said Tim Connor, COO of The Shamrock Companies. “Print marketing is in our DNA, so we understand the value and the power of print, promo, and apparel in branding. Where IBP sets the bar in print and promotional products, Shamrock balances those off-line tactics with full-service digital marketing, technology solutions, and the strength of nationwide supply chain partners,” he said. “The benefit for customers is that we can help them work smarter, realizing greater brand reach with added time and cost efficiencies.”
A national firm, Shamrock has had a presence in Tennessee for 15+ years. With this acquisition, the Company expands its footprint in the region. “Joe (Walkup) and his team at IBP have organically nurtured a strong and loyal client base in Nashville and across the country. Now, as they operate under the Shamrock umbrella, they’ll continue to serve those customers but with greater capabilities and added benefits.”
Since 2004, IBP has specialized in building relationships and helping companies thrive using print and promotional branding. “We understand the challenges that our business customers face every day. The merger with Shamrock gives our customers a complete marketing services solution,” said IBP President Joe Walkup. “From digital marketing campaigns to data-driven solutions for inventory control and fulfillment, we’re now able to offer it all. It’s an efficiency that will save our customers time and money—and help them be more competitive,” he added.
“We’re excited to enhance our service offering without losing our personal connection with our clients. That fundamental customer-first approach is important to us—and we’re glad to find that Shamrock shares that same mindset,” Walkup said.
