Ollen Douglass

Ollen Douglass is the Managing Partner of Motley Fool Ventures. The $250 million company is one of the largest Black-run venture capital firms in the world. The fund invests in early-stage technology startups that help businesses grow faster and operate more efficiently in a digital-first world. The fund intentionally searches inside and outside the norms to find great founders and investment opportunities across the country.

Before launching the fund, Ollen was the Chief Financial Officer of The Motley Fool Holdings, where he helped guide the company through periods of major growth, contraction, and market volatility. During that time, he raised or restructured over $100 million of capital and completed two very successful M&A deals.
