Matt Auman is a founding principal of HomeCentris Healthcare and its Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for directing the leadership team of the HomeCentris companies as well as developing and executing the longer term strategic vision.
Before forming HomeCentris to focus on home-based healthcare, Mr. Auman was in the post-acute and skilled nursing industry where he served as a founding principal and the Chief Operating Officer for Encore Healthcare, LLC, a multi-state skilled nursing and specialty hospital provider.
Prior to joining Encore, Mr. Auman was a founding principal and Vice President of Development for Monarch Properties, a health care real estate company with over 30 properties. Mr. Auman directed the company’s merger and acquisition efforts and private equity investments on behalf of Monarch’s outside investors.
Mr. Auman started his career at the First National Bank of Maryland where he was a commercial lender. He later transitioned to the healthcare industry by joining Integrated Health Services, serving in many M&A and real estate roles. He received his undergraduate business degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Richmond and his Masters of Business Administration from Loyola College in Maryland. Mr. Auman is a Board member for the Maryland National Capital Homecare Association (“MNCHA”) and chairs its Legislative Committee. He lives in Catonsville, Maryland.

These experiences provide a unique perspective to commercial banking.
