Author of Hispanic Heritage Month: Essential Toolkit and co-founder of Maryland Latinos Unidos, a nonpartisan state-wide nonprofit to build capacity among Latino-serving organizations. She serves on various boards and lives in Baltimore with her two adult kids, keeping busy with writing, reading and donating firetrucks.
