Miceal enjoys partnering with local businesses and organizations to help make our communities better places to live, work, and raise a family. As the Northeast Region Head for Global Commercial Banking, Miceal leads his team to deliver integrated financial solutions, consultative advice, and a digital-first approach to public and private companies with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion. His team provides a variety of financial solutions designed to help companies grow and prosper, including treasury, credit, investment banking, risk management, and wealth management. As President of Bank of America in Massachusetts, Miceal also connects businesses, families, and individuals to the banking and investment teams that will help improve their financial lives.

Miceal graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Political Science. Prior to his role in commercial banking, Miceal served as Head of Global Markets in Boston for Bank of America Securities, responsible for fixed income, equity sales/trading, and senior relationship management serving Boston’s investment community. He previously held similar roles at J.P. Morgan in Boston and Prudential Securities in Boston and New York.

Outside of the office, Miceal is passionate about cultivating greater economic mobility and opportunity for those in Boston and beyond. He serves as a board member of several non-profit organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club of Boston and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.

Brendan Hanley
Co-Head of Emerging Growth and Regional Coverage

Brendan is co-head of the Emerging Growth and Regional Coverage Group within investment banking and has worked at BofA Securities for nearly 20 years. In his role, he and his team will be responsible for delivering the full suite of investment banking solutions to emerging growth companies, venture capital firms, mid-market private equity firms and our middle market clients. Prior to his current leadership role, Brendan was co-head of Global Investment Grade Capital Markets from 2014 to 2017.

Brendan has spent nearly 30 years in finance, advising global clients on M&A, capital structure and capital formation. He has advised clients across various industries including GE, AB InBev and Nike as well as family-owned businesses such as Mission Produce and Cacique Foods. Brendan has worked with founders to sell stakes, such as Chosen Foods as well as Sierra Space in their $1.4Bn Series A private capital raise.

Brendan is a member of the inaugural Finance Leaders Fellowship at the Aspen Institute and is a member of Aspen Global Leadership Network. Brendan is on the advisory board of Lift Communities in the Bronx.

 

Phil Michaels

Phil Michaels is a Forbes 30U30 entrepreneur and dual-degree graduate: MBA and MS.

He was a pre-med student in undergrad. And, while working for the NY Yankees team physician, he became a finalist for Shark Tank for a mobile fitness app he cofounded, which led him to pursue entrepreneurship.

While in grad school for business, he founded Tembo Education. Tembo educates 0-6 year old children around the world, via text messages, WhatsApp, & FB messenger.

He has since gone on to become the founding CSO, SVP of Sales, and investor at Volato private jets, the world’s first jet company to offer unlimited hours and days.

With Phil’s diverse experiences, he serves as a performance coach for CEOs at Harvard and MIT, poker players, financial traders, musicians, investors, PhDs, & more.
