He founded the Transaction Advisory Services practice, works closely with many of the region’s most prominent sources of capital, and hosts the firm’s innovative quarterly DealMakers events that bring entrepreneurs, private equity professionals and operating businesses together to help facilitate transactions.

John Gardella is the Chair of CMBG3 Law's ESG and Environmental practice groups. He has 17 years of environmental litigation and compliance experience advising companies on risks associated with current and emerging environmental issues. He also consults with firms in the private equity, investment and banking spaces on environmental and chemical risks associated with the buy and sell sides of deals. He helps his clients see the risks that they are unaware of.

Dan Gerron founded Gerron Group, a provider of M&A advisory services, in 2018. Previously, Dan was SVP of Corporate Strategy and Development for Monotype Imaging, where he led acquisitions that increased revenue by more than 50%. He also held a variety of leadership roles at MapInfo Corporation and Pitney Bowes. He is a Registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC Member FINRA/SIPC.

Chris LeRoy is a co-founder and Managing Director of Truck 9 Partners. Truck 9 is a family investment firm that invests in founder and family-owned businesses that provide physical or technical services and products. Truck 9 is the private investment arm of a Massachusetts-based family office and focuses its businesses on quality, safety, and being a best place to work.

 

Martin Mazzella

Ti-SALES, Inc.

Marty Mazzella is President & Owner of Ti-SALES, Inc., an independent distributor providing technical products and services to the water and wastewater industry throughout New England and New York. Previously, Marty worked in the waterworks field for Suez, Schlumberger, and Neptune Technology Group. He acquired Ti-SALES in 2018 and has led the company to record sales and profitability.

 

Kevin McCarthy

Kevin has worked with founder/family-owned businesses as an investor for his entire career. Prior to joining Truck 9, he worked at two Massachusetts-based private equity funds where he focused on helping owners grow their companies organically and through acquisition.

Immediately prior to Truck 9, Kevin spent a decade with Century Equity Partners in Boston with a stop at MIT Sloan for business school. He looks forward to continuing to work with small business owners as they decide “what’s next” for them, their companies and their employees.

Kevin earned his BA from Dartmouth College and his MBA from MIT Sloan. He lives in Melrose, MA with his wife Meg and their two boys, Tee and Zak. Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys chasing the kids around with Meg, playing pick-up hockey and trying to find level ground for his backyard ice rink.
