Kevin Boyce made history when he was elected in November of 2016 as the first African American to be elected Franklin County Commissioner in its 213-year history. Commissioner Boyce has had a distinguished career in public service and investment banking, having served as State Treasurer, State Representative, and a member of Columbus City Council.
In addition to public service, Boyce is a licensed Investment Banker having served as Managing Director, Sr. Vice President and Managing Partner at firms in Ohio, Tennessee, Georgia, and New York. He has conducted over $5 billion dollars in Senior and Co-manager role. A serial entrepreneur at heart, his latest endeavor is the creation of America’s 21st Minority Depository Institution, Adelphi Bank, located in the historic King-Lincoln District in Columbus, Ohio. The Bank’s primary mission is to reduce the wealth gap by providing homeownership opportunities, entrepreneurial resources, and banking services for underserved communities.
