Murad Beg

Murad Beg is a founding partner with Provariant Equity. His responsibilities include sourcing and transacting new investments, as well as managing portfolio company oversight.  Murad also provides leadership in deal sourcing to ensure consistency and quality.

Murad is involved with all of the Provariant portfolio companies including serving as Chairman of the Board of MWE Holdings and he serves on the Boards of Stanisci Design and Smart Vent. Murad was previously a partner and Managing Director with Linsalata Capital Partners. Prior Linsalata Capital Partners portfolio companies include: Stanton Carpet, Eatem Foods, Whitcraft and Home Helpers. 

From 1998-2008, Murad was a Partner at Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, where he co-led the M&A practice. Murad worked closely with both privately and publicly owned clients on a variety of business issues and advised clients on more than 100 transactions.

Murad has a B.A. in Political Science from Kenyon College and a J.D., with honors, from The Pace University School of Law.
