Don Bassell

Don Bassell served as the CFO of ARKO Corp (Nasdaq: ARKO) from 2014 – 2024 where he facilitated growth through an acquisition strategy including 25+ acquisitions. He previously served as the operating company’s CFO from 2004-2010. From 2011-2013, Mr. Bassell served as CFO of Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores, LLC. Before joining GPM in January 2004, Mr. Bassell served in a wide variety of financial, treasury and MIS roles. Mr. Bassell has over 40 years of experience in retail convenience stores, refining and retail fuel distribution businesses.

Chris O'Geen

Chris O’Geen is a Managing Director in the Mid-Cap Investment Banking group and leads investment banking coverage of the East region. He is based in Washington, D.C.

Chris has more than 23 years of investment banking and strategic advisory experience, advising companies across industries. He has a deep background with strategic transactions across products, including M&A, debt and equity financings for a wide range of clients. Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2022, Chris was a Managing Director at Nomura’s Investment Banking Division.

Prior to Nomura, Chris spent 17 years at Jefferies where he was a Managing Director. Chris began his investment banking career at Banc of America Securities as an analyst.

Chris holds a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Debbie Ricci

“Deb” brings more than 35 years of end-to-end financial management, corporate strategy, M&A, strategic partnerships and capital management expertise and leadership within public and private-sector organizations. 

Playing an integral role in the company’s early foundations and leader during several strategic acquisitions, Deb is a respected female executive of the corporate leadership team, working closely with the CEO to deliver on the corporate growth and driveing the company's strategy and financial integrity for continued expansion and success. 

With a mastery of business and operational finance, financial reporting, capital financing, working capital management and broad knowledge of corporate governance issues, Deb focused on mitigating risk and maintaining a strong cash foundation across a portfolio of assets for organic and inorganic growth stability.  Her industry-leading metrics and successful financial management practices have won her numerous industry and academic plaudits throughout her career.  

Before joining Guidehouse, Deb served as a senior financial executive in government services, tech, and manufacturing.  She began her career as a Certified Public Accountant in a Big 4 Accounting firm.

Alex Shahidi

Alex joined Riveron in 2024 to lead the transaction services business segment nationally.

He was previously at Ernst & Young for 25 years where as a Managing Partner in Strategy & Transactions he managed and delivered transaction and other services to private equity and corporate clients and set and executed strategy around growth and business development, talent, compensation, promotions, and innovation. ​He has led multi-disciplinary teams on buy side and sell side transactions including carve-outs and cross-border transactions across the Americas, UKI, Europe, Australia and Asia.
