Joshua Ehrenfeld

Josh is a member of Burr & Forman’s Corporate & Tax Practice Group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international taxation, venture capital, early-stage and start-up companies, private equity, and corporate finance. He advises clients worldwide on a wide-range of domestic and cross-border transactional and business-related issues, including structuring and executing transactions involving foreign direct investment (FDI) into the U.S. and U.S. investment overseas.

Prior to joining Burr, Josh worked in the New York and London offices of Shearman & Sterling and served as the general counsel for an energy company.  He holds a B.A. from the College of William and Mary, a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Graduate School of Management and a LLM in Taxation from the University of Florida College of Law.
