Matt Somma is a Managing Director for Truist Financial Corporation based in New York, NY. He oversees family office investment banking coverage in the Private Institutional Capital Group. In this role, he works across industry and product groups to provide the full suite of capital markets, advisory and banking services to family office clients and their respective portfolio companies.
Matt has spent 17 years in the family office industry across investment banking and buy-side roles. He worked at MSD Capital in the Technology, Energy and Convertible Bonds Group managing $2.2B AUM across public and private securities. Additionally, Matt spent five years at J.P. Morgan covering family office clients in Geneva, Hong Kong, London, New York and Singapore.
