Julie Fox

UBS

Julie is the Market Executive of the Philadelphia & DC market. Previously, she served as National Sales Manager and led our sales effort for both the Field Sales team and the sales organization. She was responsible for the sales strategy and direction of all field-facing resources both internally and externally to ensure consistency across our sales efforts in how we deliver products and solutions to Financial Advisors and clients. A 19-year veteran of UBS, Julie was instrumental in launching the UBS Global Family Office Group, a unique offering in the industry serving the needs of UHNW clients and their Advisors. Julie spent five years in the field in key branch roles including the Metro Regional Sales Manager. She also has seven years of experience in our Capital Markets group leading an array of teams and businesses.

Additionally, Julie served as the management liaison between the FA Advisory Council and home office, and is a former co-chair for the firm's Diversity Network (All Bar None) in the Americas. Julie led the efforts to start a 100 Women in Finance location in Philadelphia where she is the Co-chair.

She also sits on the boards of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Forum of Executive Women. She was selected to be one of the Makers@ Community Class of 2020 on behalf of UBS. Julie played collegiate Division I tennis at Lehigh University. She holds her executive M.B.A. from Fordham University. She has served on several other non-profit boards including Futures and Options and JOIN Israel. Julie, her husband Stephen, and sons Mason and Logan live in Villanova, Pennsylvania.

Alan Feldman
Principal
CPTL Advisors

Alan Feldman is the founder and principal of CPTL advisors and also a Senior Fellow at the Zell Lurie Real Estate Center of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he has taught Real Estate Development for the past 10 years.

Most recently he served as Chairman and CEO of Resource REIT (“Resource”), a multifamily owner and operator, prior to its sale to Blackstone in May 2022. At Resource, he helped craft the firm’s overall real estate investment strategy and oversaw management of the firm’s real estate and securities portfolios for Resource and its affiliated entities for the past 20 years.

Prior to Resource, he held leadership roles at Lazard and at Pennsylvania REIT. He has B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University with honors and an M.B.A from the Wharton School.

Emily Foote

Osage Venture Partners (OVP)

Emily Foote is a Partner at Osage Venture Partners (OVP), an early-stage venture firm focused on future of work and future of education B2B software companies. Emily joined OVP after co-founding Practice which was sold to Instructure in 2017. As co-founder, Emily guided the company from a video-based platform in the higher education market to a corporate learning solution. At Instructure, Emily was VP of Strategy and Customer Success. Prior to her entrepreneurial career, Emily spent two years practicing education law and five years as a Teach for America and KIPP classroom teacher.

James Jack
Managing Director, Head of the Business Owners and Multigenerational Wealth Client Segments
UBS

James is the Head of both the Business Owners and Multigenerational Wealth Client Segments within the Strategic Client Segments team.

James took on the Business Owners Client Segment upon its creation in 2018 to build an organization that supports business owners and the Financial Advisors that advise them. He has worked with clients on pre-business sale exit planning, such as succession planning, M&A transaction planning, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), and the emotional and self-identity ramifications of exiting a business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, James and his team supported business owners in navigating pandemic programs like the Paycheck Protection Program. In 2023, James’s remit expanded to include the Multigenerational Wealth Client Segment, which includes UBS’s support of wealth transfer and transition strategies between generations and the Rising Gen. James and his team work to bring the best of UBS’s resources to these important client segments.

James has been with UBS since 2006, previously working in the WMA Banking Group to build banking, cash and lending solutions that meet the needs of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals and the Financial Advisors that support them. James has driven and executed strategies to expand securities-based lending, develop a proprietary credit card tailored to UBS's unique client base and helped to manage UBS’s deposit program, including pricing, sales, and product development programs.

James holds a BS in Finance and Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Outside of UBS, James is a member of the board of directors and co-treasurer for the Bronx Academy of Letters Foundation, supporting a public middle and high school in the poorest congressional district in the US, and enjoys experiencing travel and cultures different from his own. He also holds FINRA Series 7 license and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation.
