Mr. Will Allen has over a decade of experience as a business executive, board director, investor, non-profit founder, and professional athlete. Will Allen is general partner and founder at MVP a Pittsburgh based Venture Fund.
Prior to MVP will was an active angel investor where he managed a personal portfolio with 20 tech investments and also a real estate portfolio. Will earned his master’s degree in business management and analytics from the University of Dayton and a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication from The Ohio State University. Will developed his skills in leadership, decisive analytical assessment and talent management during his 12 years in the NFL for the Steelers and Buccaneers. He was a key member of the ’02 National Championship Team at The Ohio State University and Consensus All- American selection in 2003.
He Serves on the boards of Highmark/AHN a $28 Billion multi-state healthcare organization where he serves on the enterprise risk committee, The Pittsburgh Foundation a $1.5B donor advised fund and started the Will Allen Foundation 19 years ago to provide resources and skill development to students so that they may achieve their greatest success for life after high school.
