Terry Moody

Terry A. Moody is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of C-suite experience, renowned for his expertise in international business, strategy, business development, and management. He has successfully led several companies and he has a proven track record in creating high returns to shareholders totaling more than $2B. Terry is currently the CEO and board member of Altor Solutions, based in St. Louis, Missouri, overseeing 23 manufacturing and distribution sites across the U.S. and Mexico. He is also serving as a Board Member for the Coats Company, an automotive aftermarket OEM.
Before his role at Altor Solutions, Terry served as President and CEO of Alpha Packaging, a St. Louis based company, where he orchestrated the successful sale of the company to Clear Lake Capital and Pretium in October 2021. He has also held significant positions, including serving on the Board of Directors at Fives, Inc. from 2018 to 2020, and as CEO of Metal Cutting/Composites at Fives, where he managed global aerospace and heavy industrial operations.
Terry’s extensive experience also includes serving as Senior Vice President of Business Integration at Colfax/ESAB and COO at Victor Technologies, where he was instrumental in increasing the company’s value by over $500 million. Additionally, he has held senior leadership roles at Videocon Industries and Technicolor, and began his career at N.V. Philips, advancing from engineer to senior program manager.
With expertise across regions such as the U.S., Mexico, Australia, Malaysia, China, India, Europe, and Eastern Europe, Terry brings a global perspective to his leadership. He holds a BS in Manufacturing Technology and has advanced certifications in Six Sigma and Value Creation.
William Schmidt

Bill Schmidt serves as Managing Partner for the Life Sciences Funds at venture capital firm, Cultivation Capital. As an active venture capitalist, his funds have invested in over 40 startups, and Bill currently holds board level positions for numerous companies. He has over 20 years of experience in medical device and healthcare information technology sectors and was a founding Partner of LDM Group. LDM was a highly successful digital health company who built a software platform which was integrated into 18,000 pharmacies and over 100,000 doctors’ offices, enabling a real-time patient communication designed to drive medication adherence. For non-profit work, Bill currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the St. Louis Community Foundation and as a Board Member at Villa Duchesne High School, having prior served on the board of the St. Louis Zoo. He and his partners sold the company to a Private Equity Firm in late 2014, and it now operates under the name ConnectiveRx. He holds a BS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and was a torchbearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

James Carrington leads the Center in delivering on its mission to improve the human condition through plant science. With nearly 450 employees, the Danforth Center is the largest independent plant science institute in the world. Since joining Danforth in 2011, Jim has focused the enterprise on high technology, big data., and computation. This is necessary to feed and power a growing and changing world. Jim is one of the most frequently cited plant scientists in the world. He's recognized for his research on gene silencing, small RNA., and virus host interactions. He applies his knowledge to improve productivity of food security crops. Jim was elected as a member of the National Academy of Sciences in 2008. His awards include the Presidential Young Investigators Award from the National Science Foundation, the Ruth Allen Award from the American Society for Phytopathology, and the Humboldt Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
James Koman

Jim Koman provides strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the firm’s operations. As Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Koman assumes primary responsibility for firm management and project coordination, with a commitment to developing and managing quality assets as well as providing clients with unparalleled service. Koman founded ElmTree in 2011 and brings 40 years of commercial real estate and development experience to ElmTree. Koman is a member of the Investment Committee and is active in all areas of ElmTree’s activities, including investment strategy, acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio management. Including affiliated investments, Koman has transacted approximately $20 billion of net lease and other real estate assets.
A long-time proponent of community building and youth development, Koman has served on numerous boards and participated in his surrounding community groups. He previously served a two-year term as the president of the board of Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO, and remains very involved in other capacities with the hospital today. Koman’s commitment to supporting youth development has translated into the foundation of the Bill Koman Game Plan for Success program at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. The creation of this program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill aims to support disadvantaged student-athletes, and through providing access to critical resources and mentorship, prepare student athletes for collegiate and lifelong success.
Koman is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. As a respected leader in the net-lease sector, Koman has been a keynote speaker on numerous industry-wide panels across the nation. Over his career, Koman has been featured as one of the Net Lease Real Estate Icons in the Real Estate Forum. Mr. Koman holds an AB degree in Economics from the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
